Interesting Squash Fact of the Week!

The 1962 film “The Birdman of Alcatraz” was based (although largely fictionalised by Hollywood) on the life of murderer John Stroud and starred Burt Lancaster. The closing sequence shows Lancaster playing a rudimentary game of squash with a fellow inmate by hitting a ball against a wall. Just goes to show that football is not the only game that can be enjoyed whilst interned (ref “Mean Machine” with Vinnie Jones) !
