Trowbridge Squash Team Wins Wiltshire Division 1

For many years Trowbridge Squash Club has had teams playing in the Wiltshire squash leagues at various levels. This year though the first team has been strengthened with a couple of new players joining the club and this resulted in them winning the Wiltshire Division 1 winter league.

Led by captain Paul Ruddick, the squad of Richard Edwards, Mark McGuiness, Joe Kenrick, Robbie Collier, Elliot Clifford and Tom Scott-Cowell only lost 2 matches in the whole season. With strength in depth, the team’s consistency was the secret to its success backed by great performances in some crucial matches. 

With a short break for Christmas everyone is looking forward to the start of the new season in January when we hope we can repeat the feat. Trowbridge Squash Club continues to go from strength to strength with growing membership and we are really excited that from January there will be 3 teams playing in the Wiltshire squash leagues.
