Club Championships 2026

Winners and Runners Up of the Main Tournament and Plate Competition

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 2026 Club Championship last weekend. There were some great matches and individual performances and a real buzz about the place.

In the Plate Tournament final Martin Blakeley played Matt Dustan with both players racing round the court making some amazing retrievals and playing some lovely winners. Matt in particular was like a teenager diving around the place, playing shots from around his back and his extra power seemed to make the difference as he won in straight games.

In the Main Tournament, Mark McGuiness came up against Robbie Collier and although they both played some superb tight squash and punishing rallies, Robbie always seemed to have the edge through his greater consistency, eventually winning in straight games.

Well done to Robbie and Matt for winning and thank you to everyone who entered and a huge thank you to Collstone Projects for sponsoring the event which meant everyone went home with a prize
